시편 51장
| 1 | 하나님이여 주의 인자를 따라 내게 은혜를 베푸시며 주의 많은 긍휼을 따라 내 죄악을 지워 주소서 |
| 2 | 나의 죄악을 말갛게 씻으시며 나의 죄를 깨끗이 제하소서 |
| 3 | 무릇 나는 내 죄과를 아오니 내 죄가 항상 내 앞에 있나이다 |
| 4 | 내가 주께만 범죄하여 주의 목전에 악을 행하였사오니 주께서 말씀하실 때에 의로우시다 하고 주께서 심판하실 때에 순전하시다 하리이다 |
| 5 | 내가 죄악 중에서 출생하였음이여 어머니가 죄 중에서 나를 잉태하였나이다 |
| 6 | 보소서 주께서는 중심이 진실함을 원하시오니 내게 지혜를 은밀히 가르치시리이다 |
| 7 | 우슬초로 나를 정결하게 하소서 내가 정하리이다 나의 죄를 씻어 주소서 내가 눈보다 희리이다 |
| 8 | 내게 즐겁고 기쁜 소리를 들려 주시사 주께서 꺾으신 뼈들도 즐거워하게 하소서 |
| 9 | 주의 얼굴을 내 죄에서 돌이키시고 내 모든 죄악을 지워 주소서 |
| 10 | 하나님이여 내 속에 정한 마음을 창조하시고 내 안에 정직한 영을 새롭게 하소서 |
| 11 | 나를 주 앞에서 쫓아내지 마시며 주의 성령을 내게서 거두지 마소서 |
| 12 | 주의 구원의 즐거움을 내게 회복시켜 주시고 자원하는 심령을 주사 나를 붙드소서 |
| 13 | 그리하면 내가 범죄자에게 주의 도를 가르치리니 죄인들이 주께 돌아오리이다 |
| 14 | 하나님이여 나의 구원의 하나님이여 피 흘린 죄에서 나를 건지소서 내 혀가 주의 공의를 높이 노래하리이다 |
| 15 | 주여 내 입술을 열어 주소서 내 입이 주를 찬송하여 전파하리이다 |
| 16 | 주께서는 제사를 기뻐하지 아니하시나니 그렇지 아니하면 내가 드렸을 것이라 주는 번제를 기뻐하지 아니하시나이다 |
| 17 | 하나님께서 구하시는 제사는 상한 심령이라 하나님이여 상하고 통회하는 마음을 주께서 멸시하지 아니하시리이다 |
| 18 | 주의 은택으로 시온에 선을 행하시고 예루살렘 성을 쌓으소서 |
| 19 | 그 때에 주께서 의로운 제사와 번제와 온전한 번제를 기뻐하시리니 그 때에 그들이 수소를 주의 제단에 드리리이다 |
| 1 | 포악한 자여 네가 어찌하여 악한 계획을 스스로 자랑하는가 하나님의 인자하심은 항상 있도다 |
| 2 | 네 혀가 심한 악을 꾀하여 날카로운 삭도 같이 간사를 행하는도다 |
| 3 | 네가 선보다 악을 사랑하며 의를 말함보다 거짓을 사랑하는도다 (셀라) |
| 4 | 간사한 혀여 너는 남을 해치는 모든 말을 좋아하는도다 |
| 5 | 그런즉 하나님이 영원히 너를 멸하심이여 너를 붙잡아 네 장막에서 뽑아 내며 살아 있는 땅에서 네 뿌리를 빼시리로다 (셀라) |
| 6 | 의인이 보고 두려워하며 또 그를 비웃어 말하기를 |
| 7 | 이 사람은 하나님을 자기 힘으로 삼지 아니하고 오직 자기 재물의 풍부함을 의지하며 자기의 악으로 스스로 든든하게 하던 자라 하리로다 |
| 8 | 그러나 나는 하나님의 집에 있는 푸른 감람나무 같음이여 하나님의 인자하심을 영원히 의지하리로다 |
| 9 | 주께서 이를 행하셨으므로 내가 영원히 주께 감사하고 주의 이름이 선하시므로 주의 성도 앞에서 내가 주의 이름을 사모하리이다 |
| 1 | 어리석은 자는 그의 마음에 이르기를 하나님이 없다 하도다 그들은 부패하며 가증한 악을 행함이여 선을 행하는 자가 없도다 |
| 2 | 하나님이 하늘에서 인생을 굽어 살피사 지각이 있는 자와 하나님을 찾는 자가 있는가 보려 하신즉 |
| 3 | 각기 물러가 함께 더러운 자가 되고 선을 행하는 자 없으니 한 사람도 없도다 |
| 4 | 죄악을 행하는 자들은 무지하냐 그들이 떡 먹듯이 내 백성을 먹으면서 하나님을 부르지 아니하는도다 |
| 5 | 그들이 두려움이 없는 곳에서 크게 두려워하였으니 너를 대항하여 진친 그들의 뼈를 하나님이 흩으심이라 하나님이 그들을 버리셨으므로 네가 그들에게 수치를 당하게 하였도다 |
| 6 | 시온에서 이스라엘을 구원하여 줄 자 누구인가 하나님이 자기 백성의 포로된 것을 돌이키실 때에 야곱이 즐거워하며 이스라엘이 기뻐하리로다 |
| 1 | 하나님이여 주의 이름으로 나를 구원하시고 주의 힘으로 나를 변호하소서 |
| 2 | 하나님이여 내 기도를 들으시며 내 입의 말에 귀를 기울이소서 |
| 3 | 낯선 자들이 일어나 나를 치고 포악한 자들이 나의 생명을 수색하며 하나님을 자기 앞에 두지 아니하였음이니이다 (셀라) |
| 4 | 하나님은 나를 돕는 이시며 주께서는 내 생명을 붙들어 주시는 이시니이다 |
| 5 | 주께서는 내 원수에게 악으로 갚으시리니 주의 성실하심으로 그들을 멸하소서 |
| 6 | 내가 낙헌제로 주께 제사하리이다 여호와여 주의 이름에 감사하오리니 주의 이름이 선하심이니이다 |
| 7 | 참으로 주께서는 모든 환난에서 나를 건지시고 내 원수가 보응 받는 것을 내 눈이 똑똑히 보게 하셨나이다 |
| 1 | 하나님이여 내 기도에 귀를 기울이시고 내가 간구할 때에 숨지 마소서 |
| 2 | 내게 굽히사 응답하소서 내가 근심으로 편하지 못하여 탄식하오니 |
| 3 | 이는 원수의 소리와 악인의 압제 때문이라 그들이 죄악을 내게 더하며 노하여 나를 핍박하나이다 |
| 4 | 내 마음이 내 속에서 심히 아파하며 사망의 위험이 내게 이르렀도다 |
| 5 | 두려움과 떨림이 내게 이르고 공포가 나를 덮었도다 |
| 6 | 나는 말하기를 만일 내게 비둘기 같이 날개가 있다면 날아가서 편히 쉬리로다 |
| 7 | 내가 멀리 날아가서 광야에 머무르리로다 (셀라) |
| 8 | 내가 나의 피난처로 속히 가서 폭풍과 광풍을 피하리라 하였도다 |
| 9 | 내가 성내에서 강포와 분쟁을 보았사오니 주여 그들을 멸하소서 그들의 혀를 잘라 버리소서 |
| 10 | 그들이 주야로 성벽 위에 두루 다니니 성중에는 죄악과 재난이 있으며 |
| 11 | 악독이 그 중에 있고 압박과 속임수가 그 거리를 떠나지 아니하도다 |
| 12 | 나를 책망하는 자는 원수가 아니라 원수일진대 내가 참았으리라 나를 대하여 자기를 높이는 자는 나를 미워하는 자가 아니라 미워하는 자일진대 내가 그를 피하여 숨었으리라 |
| 13 | 그는 곧 너로다 나의 동료, 나의 친구요 나의 가까운 친우로다 |
| 14 | 우리가 같이 재미있게 의논하며 무리와 함께 하여 하나님의 집안에서 다녔도다 |
| 15 | 사망이 갑자기 그들에게 임하여 산 채로 스올에 내려갈지어다 이는 악독이 그들의 거처에 있고 그들 가운데에 있음이로다 |
| 16 | 나는 하나님께 부르짖으리니 여호와께서 나를 구원하시리로다 |
| 17 | 저녁과 아침과 정오에 내가 근심하여 탄식하리니 여호와께서 내 소리를 들으시리로다 |
| 18 | 나를 대적하는 자 많더니 나를 치는 전쟁에서 그가 내 생명을 구원하사 평안하게 하셨도다 |
| 19 | 옛부터 계시는 하나님이 들으시고 그들을 낮추시리이다 (셀라) 그들은 변하지 아니하며 하나님을 경외하지 아니함이니이다 |
| 20 | 그는 손을 들어 자기와 화목한 자를 치고 그의 언약을 배반하였도다 |
| 21 | 그의 입은 우유 기름보다 미끄러우나 그의 마음은 전쟁이요 그의 말은 기름보다 유하나 실상은 뽑힌 칼이로다 |
| 22 | 네 짐을 여호와께 맡기라 그가 너를 붙드시고 의인의 요동함을 영원히 허락하지 아니하시리로다 |
| 23 | 하나님이여 주께서 그들로 파멸의 웅덩이에 빠지게 하시리이다 피를 흘리게 하며 속이는 자들은 그들의 날의 반도 살지 못할 것이나 나는 주를 의지하리이다 |

Create in Me a Clean Heart, O God
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.
1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin!
3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is ever before me.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight,
so that you may be justified in your words
and blameless in your judgment.
5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being,
and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones that you have broken rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins,
and blot out all my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from your presence,
and take not your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
and uphold me with a willing spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will return to you.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God,
O God of my salvation,
and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 For you will not delight in sacrifice, or I would give it;
you will not be pleased with a burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
18 Do good to Zion in your good pleasure;
build up the walls of Jerusalem;
19 then will you delight in right sacrifices,
in burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.

The Steadfast Love of God Endures
To the choirmaster. A Maskil of David, when Doeg, the Edomite, came and told Saul, “David has come to the house of Ahimelech.”
1 Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man?
The steadfast love of God endures all the day.
2 Your tongue plots destruction,
like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.
3 You love evil more than good,
and lying more than speaking what is right. Selah
4 You love all words that devour,
O deceitful tongue.
5 But God will break you down forever;
he will snatch and tear you from your tent;
he will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah
6 The righteous shall see and fear,
and shall laugh at him, saying,
7 “See the man who would not make
God his refuge,
but trusted in the abundance of his riches
and sought refuge in his own destruction!”
8 But I am like a green olive tree
in the house of God.
I trust in the steadfast love of God
forever and ever.
9 I will thank you forever,
because you have done it.
I will wait for your name, for it is good,
in the presence of the godly.

Psalm 53 (Listen)
There Is None Who Does Good

1 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity;
there is none who does good.
2 God looks down from heaven
on the children of man
to see if there are any who understand,
who seek after God.
3 They have all fallen away;
together they have become corrupt;
there is none who does good,
not even one.
4 Have those who work evil no knowledge,
who eat up my people as they eat bread,
and do not call upon God?
5 There they are, in great terror,
where there is no terror!
For God scatters the bones of him who encamps against you;
you put them to shame, for God has rejected them.
6 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When God restores the fortunes of his people,
let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.

1 O God, save me by your name,
and vindicate me by your might.
2 O God, hear my prayer;
give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers have risen against me;
ruthless men seek my life;
they do not set God before themselves. Selah
4 Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life.
5 He will return the evil to my enemies;
in your faithfulness put an end to them.
6 With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you;
I will give thanks to your name, O LORD, for it is good.
7 For he has delivered me from every trouble,
and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.

Cast Your Burden on the Lord

1 Give ear to my prayer, O God,
and hide not yourself from my plea for mercy!
2 Attend to me, and answer me;
I am restless in my complaint and I moan,
3 because of the noise of the enemy,
because of the oppression of the wicked.
For they drop trouble upon me,
and in anger they bear a grudge against me.
4 My heart is in anguish within me;
the terrors of death have fallen upon me.
5 Fear and trembling come upon me,
and horror overwhelms me.
6 And I say, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest;
7 yes, I would wander far away;
I would lodge in the wilderness; Selah
8 I would hurry to find a shelter
from the raging wind and tempest.”
9 Destroy, O Lord, divide their tongues;
for I see violence and strife in the city.
10 Day and night they go around it
on its walls,
and iniquity and trouble are within it;
11 ruin is in its midst;
oppression and fraud
do not depart from its marketplace.
12 For it is not an enemy who taunts me—
then I could bear it;
it is not an adversary who deals insolently with me—
then I could hide from him.
13 But it is you, a man, my equal,
my companion, my familiar friend.
14 We used to take sweet counsel together;
within God’s house we walked in the throng.
15 Let death steal over them;
let them go down to Sheol alive;
for evil is in their dwelling place and in their heart.
16 But I call to God,
and the LORD will save me.
17 Evening and morning and at noon
I utter my complaint and moan,
and he hears my voice.
18 He redeems my soul in safety
from the battle that I wage,
for many are arrayed against me.
19 God will give ear and humble them,
he who is enthroned from of old, Selah
because they do not change
and do not fear God.
20 My companion stretched out his hand against his friends;
he violated his covenant.
21 His speech was smooth as butter,
yet war was in his heart;
his words were softer than oil,
yet they were drawn swords.
22 Cast your burden on the LORD,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved.
23 But you, O God, will cast them down
into the pit of destruction;
men of blood and treachery
shall not live out half their days.
But I will trust in you.
