시편(Psalm) 58:1 - 시편(Psalm) 58:11

1	통치자들아 너희가 정의를 말해야 하거늘 어찌 잠잠하냐 인자들아 너희가 올바르게 판결해야 하거늘 어찌 잠잠하냐
2	아직도 너희가 중심에 악을 행하며 땅에서 너희 손으로 폭력을 달아 주는도다
3	악인은 모태에서부터 멀어졌음이여 나면서부터 곁길로 나아가 거짓을 말하는도다
4	그들의 독은 뱀의 독 같으며 그들은 귀를 막은 귀머거리 독사 같으니
5	술사의 홀리는 소리도 듣지 않고 능숙한 술객의 요술도 따르지 아니하는 독사로다
6	하나님이여 그들의 입에서 이를 꺾으소서 여호와여 젊은 사자의 어금니를 꺾어 내시며
7	그들이 급히 흐르는 물 같이 사라지게 하시며 겨누는 화살이 꺾임 같게 하시며
8	소멸하여 가는 달팽이 같게 하시며 만삭되지 못하여 출생한 아이가 햇빛을 보지 못함 같게 하소서
9	가시나무 불이 가마를 뜨겁게 하기 전에 생나무든지 불 붙는 나무든지 강한 바람으로 휩쓸려가게 하소서
10	의인이 악인의 보복 당함을 보고 기뻐함이여 그의 발을 악인의 피에 씻으리로다
11	그 때에 사람의 말이 진실로 의인에게 갚음이 있고 진실로 땅에서 심판하시는 하나님이 계시다 하리로다

God Who Judges the Earth

To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Miktam¹ of David.

1   Do you indeed decree what is right, you gods?²
    Do you judge the children of man uprightly?
2   No, in your hearts you devise wrongs;
    your hands deal out violence on earth.
3   The wicked are estranged from the womb;
    they go astray from birth, speaking lies.
4   They have venom like the venom of a serpent,
    like the deaf adder that stops its ear,
5   so that it does not hear the voice of charmers
    or of the cunning enchanter.
6   O God, break the teeth in their mouths;
    tear out the fangs of the young lions, O LORD!
7   Let them vanish like water that runs away;
    when he aims his arrows, let them be blunted.
8   Let them be like the snail that dissolves into slime,
    like the stillborn child who never sees the sun.
9   Sooner than your pots can feel the heat of thorns,
    whether green or ablaze, may he sweep them away!³
10   The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance;
    he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11   Mankind will say, “Surely there is a reward for the righteous;
    surely there is a God who judges on earth.”
