호세아(Hosea) 13:1 - 호세아(Hosea) 13:16

1	에브라임이 말을 하면 떨었도다 그가 이스라엘 중에서 자기를 높이더니 바알로 말미암아 범죄하므로 망하였거늘
2	이제도 그들은 더욱 범죄하여 그 은으로 자기를 위하여 우상을 부어 만들되 자기의 정교함을 따라 우상을 만들었으며 그것은 다 은장색이 만든 것이거늘 그들은 그것에 대하여 말하기를 제사를 드리는 자는 송아지와 입을 맞출 것이라 하도다
3	이러므로 그들은 아침 구름 같으며 쉬 사라지는 이슬 같으며 타작 마당에서 광풍에 날리는 쭉정이 같으며 굴뚝에서 나가는 연기 같으리라
4	그러나 애굽 땅에 있을 때부터 나는 네 하나님 여호와라 나 밖에 네가 다른 신을 알지 말 것이라 나 외에는 구원자가 없느니라
5	내가 광야 마른 땅에서 너를 알았거늘
6	그들이 먹여 준 대로 배가 불렀고 배가 부르니 그들의 마음이 교만하여 이로 말미암아 나를 잊었느니라
7	그러므로 내가 그들에게 사자 같고 길가에서 기다리는 표범 같으니라
8	내가 새끼 잃은 곰 같이 그들을 만나 그의 염통 꺼풀을 찢고 거기서 암사자 같이 저희를 삼키리라 들짐승이 그들을 찢으리라
9	이스라엘아 네가 패망하였나니 이는 너를 도와주는 나를 대적함이니라
10	전에 네가 이르기를 내게 왕과 지도자들을 주소서 하였느니라 네 모든 성읍에서 너를 구원할 자 곧 네 왕이 이제 어디 있으며 네 재판장들이 어디 있느냐
11	내가 분노하므로 네게 왕을 주고 진노하므로 폐하였노라
12	에브라임의 불의가 봉함되었고 그 죄가 저장되었나니
13	해산하는 여인의 어려움이 그에게 임하리라 그는 지혜 없는 자식이로다 해산할 때가 되어도 그가 나오지 못하느니라
14	내가 그들을 스올의 권세에서 속량하며 사망에서 구속하리니 사망아 네 재앙이 어디 있브냐 스올아 네 멸망이 어디 있느냐 뉘우침이 내 눈 앞에서 숨으리라
15	그가 비록 형제 중에서 결실하나 동풍이 오리니 곧 광야에서 일어나는 여호와의 바람이라 그의 근원이 마르며 그의 샘이 마르고 그 쌓아 둔 바 모든 보배의 그릇이 약탈되리로다
16	사마리아가 그들의 하나님을 배반하였으므로 형벌을 당하여 칼에 엎드러질 것이요 그 어린 아이는 부서뜨려지며 아이 밴 여인은 배가 갈라지리라

Hosea 13 (Listen)

The Lord’s Relentless Judgment on Israel

1   When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling;
    he was exalted in Israel,
    but he incurred guilt through Baal and died.
2   And now they sin more and more,
    and make for themselves metal images,
  idols skillfully made of their silver,
    all of them the work of craftsmen.
  It is said of them,
    “Those who offer human sacrifice kiss calves!”
3   Therefore they shall be like the morning mist
    or like the dew that goes early away,
  like the chaff that swirls from the threshing floor
    or like smoke from a window.
4   But I am the LORD your God
    from the land of Egypt;
  you know no God but me,
    and besides me there is no savior.
5   It was I who knew you in the wilderness,
    in the land of drought;
6   but when they had grazed,¹ they became full,
    they were filled, and their heart was lifted up;
    therefore they forgot me.
7   So I am to them like a lion;
    like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
8   I will fall upon them like a bear robbed of her cubs;
    I will tear open their breast,
  and there I will devour them like a lion,
    as a wild beast would rip them open.
9   He destroys² you, O Israel,
    for you are against me, against your helper.
10   Where now is your king, to save you in all your cities?
    Where are all your rulers—
  those of whom you said,
    “Give me a king and princes”?
11   I gave you a king in my anger,
    and I took him away in my wrath.
12   The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up;
    his sin is kept in store.
13   The pangs of childbirth come for him,
    but he is an unwise son,
  for at the right time he does not present himself
    at the opening of the womb.
14   I shall ransom them from the power of Sheol;
    I shall redeem them from Death.³
  O Death, where are your plagues?
    O Sheol, where is your sting?
    Compassion is hidden from my eyes.
15   Though he may flourish among his brothers,
    the east wind, the wind of the LORD, shall come,
    rising from the wilderness,
  and his fountain shall dry up;
    his spring shall be parched;
  it shall strip his treasury
    of every precious thing.
16   ⁴ Samaria shall bear her guilt,
    because she has rebelled against her God;
  they shall fall by the sword;
    their little ones shall be dashed in pieces,
    and their pregnant women ripped open.
