시편 (Ps) 79:1 - 시편 (Ps) 79:13

1	하나님이여 이방 나라들이 주의 기업의 땅에 들어와서 주와 성전을 더럽히고 예루살렘이 돌무더기가 되게 하였나이다
2	그들이 주의 종들의 시체를 공중의 새에게 밥으로, 주의 성도들의 육체를 땅의 짐승에게 주며
3	그들의 피를 예루살렘 사방에 물 같이 흘렸으나 그들을 매장하는 자가 없었나이다
4	우리는 우리 이웃에게 비방 거리가 되며 우리를 에워싼 자에게 조소와 조롱 거리가 되었나이다
5	여호와여 어느 때까지니이까 영원히 노하시리이까 주의 질투가 불붙듯 하시리이까
6	주를 알지 아니하는 민족들과 주의 이름을 부르지 아니하는 나라들에게 주의 노를 쏟으소서
7	그들이 야곱을 삼키고 그의 거처를 황폐하게 함이니이다
8	우리 조상들의 죄악을 기억하지 마시고 주의 긍휼로 우리를 속히 영접하소서 우리가 매우 가련하게 되었나이다
9	우리 구원의 하나님이여 주의 이름의 영광스러운 행사를 위하여 우리를 도우시며 주의 이름을 증거하기 위하여 우리를 건지시며 우리 죄를 사하소서
10	이방 나라들이 어찌하여 그들의 하나님이 어디 있느냐 말하나이까 주의 종들이 피 흘림에 대한 복수를 우리의 목전에서 이방 나라에게 보여 주소서
11	갇힌 자의 탄식을 주의 앞에 이르게 하시며 죽이기로 정해진 자도 주의 크신 능력을 따라 보존하소서
12	주여 우리 이웃이 주를 비방한 그 비방을 그들의 품에 칠 배나 갚으소서
13	우리는 주의 백성이요 주의 목장의 양이니 우리는 영원히 주께 감사하며 주의 영예를 대대에 전하리이다

How Long, O Lord?

A Psalm of Asaph.

1   O God, the nations have come into your inheritance;
    they have defiled your holy temple;
    they have laid Jerusalem in ruins.
2   They have given the bodies of your servants
    to the birds of the heavens for food,
    the flesh of your faithful to the beasts of the earth.
3   They have poured out their blood like water
    all around Jerusalem,
    and there was no one to bury them.
4   We have become a taunt to our neighbors,
    mocked and derided by those around us.
5   How long, O LORD? Will you be angry forever?
    Will your jealousy burn like fire?
6   Pour out your anger on the nations
    that do not know you,
  and on the kingdoms
    that do not call upon your name!
7   For they have devoured Jacob
    and laid waste his habitation.
8   Do not remember against us our former iniquities;¹
    let your compassion come speedily to meet us,
    for we are brought very low.
9   Help us, O God of our salvation,
    for the glory of your name;
  deliver us, and atone for our sins,
    for your name’s sake!
10   Why should the nations say,
    “Where is their God?”
  Let the avenging of the outpoured blood of your servants
    be known among the nations before our eyes!
11   Let the groans of the prisoners come before you;
    according to your great power, preserve those doomed to die!
12   Return sevenfold into the lap of our neighbors
    the taunts with which they have taunted you, O Lord!
13   But we your people, the sheep of your pasture,
    will give thanks to you forever;
    from generation to generation we will recount your praise.
