시편 (Ps) 106:13 - 시편 (Ps) 106:33

13	그러나 그들은 그가 행하신 일을 곧 잊어버리며 그의 가르침을 기다리지 아니하고
14	광야에서 욕심을 크게 내며 사막에서 하나님을 시험하였도다
15	그러므로 여호와께서는 그들이 요구하는 것을 그들에게 주셨을지라도 그들의 영혼은 쇠약하게 하셨도다
16	그들이 진영에서 모세와 여호와의 거룩한 자 아론을 질투하매
17	땅이 갈라져 다단을 삼키며 아비람의 당을 덮었고
18	불이 그들의 당에 붙음이여 화염이 악인들을 살랐도다
19	그들이 호렙에서 송아지를 만들고 부어 만든 우상을 경배하여
20	자기 영광을 풀 먹는 소의 형상으로 바꾸었도다
21	애굽에서 큰 일을 행하신 그의 구원자 하나님을 그들이 잊었나니
22	그는 함의 땅에서 기사와 홍해에서 놀랄 만한 일을 행하신 이시로다
23	그러므로 여호와께서 그들을 멸하리라 하셨으나 그가 택하신 모세가 그 어려움 가운데에서 그의 앞에 서서 그의 노를 돌이켜 멸하시지 아니하게 하였도다
24	그들이 그 기쁨의 땅을 멸시하며 그 말씀을 믿지 아니하고
25	그들의 장막에서 원망하며 여호와의 음성을 듣지 아니하였도다
26	이러므로 그가 그의 손을 들어 그들에게 맹세하기를 그들이 광야에 엎드러지게 하고
27	또 그들의 후손을 뭇 백성 중에 엎드러뜨리며 여러 나라로 흩어지게 하리라 하셨도다
28	그들이 또 브올의 바알과 연합하여 죽은 자에게 제사한 음식을 먹어서
29	그 행위로 주를 격노하게 함으로써 재앙이 그들 중에 크게 유행하였도다
30	그 때에 비느하스가 일어서서 중재하니 이에 재앙이 그쳤도다
31	이 일이 그의 공의로 인정되었으니 대대로 영원까지로다
32	그들이 또 므리바 물에서 여호와를 노하시게 하였으므로 그들 때문에 재난이 모세에게 이르렀나니
33	이는 그들이 그의 뜻을 거역함으로 말미암아 모세가 그의 입술로 망령되이 말하였음이로다

Psalm 106:13–33 (Listen)

13   But they soon forgot his works;
    they did not wait for his counsel.
14   But they had a wanton craving in the wilderness,
    and put God to the test in the desert;
15   he gave them what they asked,
    but sent a wasting disease among them.
16   When men in the camp were jealous of Moses
    and Aaron, the holy one of the LORD,
17   the earth opened and swallowed up Dathan,
    and covered the company of Abiram.
18   Fire also broke out in their company;
    the flame burned up the wicked.
19   They made a calf in Horeb
    and worshiped a metal image.
20   They exchanged the glory of God¹
    for the image of an ox that eats grass.
21   They forgot God, their Savior,
    who had done great things in Egypt,
22   wondrous works in the land of Ham,
    and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
23   Therefore he said he would destroy them—
    had not Moses, his chosen one,
  stood in the breach before him,
    to turn away his wrath from destroying them.
24   Then they despised the pleasant land,
    having no faith in his promise.
25   They murmured in their tents,
    and did not obey the voice of the LORD.
26   Therefore he raised his hand and swore to them
    that he would make them fall in the wilderness,
27   and would make their offspring fall among the nations,
    scattering them among the lands.
28   Then they yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor,
    and ate sacrifices offered to the dead;
29   they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds,
    and a plague broke out among them.
30   Then Phinehas stood up and intervened,
    and the plague was stayed.
31   And that was counted to him as righteousness
    from generation to generation forever.
32   They angered him at the waters of Meribah,
    and it went ill with Moses on their account,
33   for they made his spirit bitter,²
    and he spoke rashly with his lips.
