13	이에 보아스가 룻을 맞이하여 아내로 삼고 그에게 들어갔더니 여호와께서 그에게 임신하게 하시므로 그가 아들을 낳은지라
14	여인들이 나오미에게 이르되 찬송할지로다 여호와께서 오늘 네게 기업 무를 자가 없게 하지 아니하셨도다 이 아이의 이름이 이스라엘 중에 유명하게 되기를 원하노라
15	이는 네 생명의 회복자이며 네 노년의 봉양자라 곧 너를 사랑하며 일곱 아들보다 귀한 네 며느리가 낳은 자로다 하니라
16	나오미가 아기를 받아 품에 품고 그의 양육자가 되니
17	그의 이웃 여인들이 그에게 이름을 지어 주되 나오미에게 아들이 태어났다 하여 그의 이름을 오벳이라 하였는데 그는 다윗의 아버지인 이새의 아버지였더라
18	베레스의 계보는 이러하니라 베레스는 헤스론을 낳고
19	헤스론은 람을 낳았고 람은 암미나답을 낳았고
20	암미나답은 나손을 낳았고 나손은 살몬을 낳았고

Ruth and Boaz Marry

13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife. And he went in to her, and the LORD gave her conception, and she bore a son. 14 Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the LORD, who has not left you this day without a redeemer, and may his name be renowned in Israel! 15 He shall be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age, for your daughter-in-law who loves you, who is more to you than seven sons, has given birth to him.” 16 Then Naomi took the child and laid him on her lap and became his nurse. 17 And the women of the neighborhood gave him a name, saying, “A son has been born to Naomi.” They named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.
