시편 (Ps) 119:17 - 시편 (Ps) 119:32

17	주의 종을 후대하여 살게 하소서 그리하시면 주의 말씀을 지키리이다
18	내 눈을 열어서 주의 율법에서 놀라운 것을 보게 하소서
19	나는 땅에서 나그네가 되었사오니 주의 계명들을 내게 숨기지 마소서
20	주의 규례들을 항상 사모함으로 내 마음이 상하나이다
21	교만하여 저주를 받으며 주의 계명들에서 떠나는 자들을 주께서 꾸짖으셨나이다
22	내가 주의 교훈들을 지켰사오니 비방과 멸시를 내게서 떠나게 하소서
23	고관들도 앉아서 나를 비방하였사오나 주의 종은 주의 율례들을 작은 소리로 읊조렸나이다
24	주의 증거들은 나의 즐거움이요 나의 충고자니이다
25	내 영혼이 진토에 붙었사오니 주의 말씀대로 나를 살아나게 하소서
26	내가 나의 행위를 아뢰매 주께서 내게 응답하셨사오니 주의 율례들을 내게 가르치소서
27	나에게 주의 법도들의 길을 깨닫게 하여 주소서 그리하시면 내가 주의 기이한 일들을 작은 소리로 읊조리리이다
28	나의 영혼이 눌림으로 말미암아 녹사오니 주의 말씀대로 나를 세우소서
29	거짓 행위를 내게서 떠나게 하시고 주의 법을 내게 은혜로이 베푸소서
30	내가 성실한 길을 택하고 주의 규례들을 내 앞에 두었나이다
31	내가 주의 증거들에 매달렸사오니 여호와여 내가 수치를 당하지 말게 하소서
32	주께서 내 마음을 넓히시면 내가 주의 계명들의 길로 달려가리이다

17   Deal bountifully with your servant,
    that I may live and keep your word.
18   Open my eyes, that I may behold
    wondrous things out of your law.
19   I am a sojourner on the earth;
    hide not your commandments from me!
20   My soul is consumed with longing
    for your rules¹ at all times.
21   You rebuke the insolent, accursed ones,
    who wander from your commandments.
22   Take away from me scorn and contempt,
    for I have kept your testimonies.
23   Even though princes sit plotting against me,
    your servant will meditate on your statutes.
24   Your testimonies are my delight;
    they are my counselors.

25   My soul clings to the dust;
    give me life according to your word!
26   When I told of my ways, you answered me;
    teach me your statutes!
27   Make me understand the way of your precepts,
    and I will meditate on your wondrous works.
28   My soul melts away for sorrow;
    strengthen me according to your word!
29   Put false ways far from me
    and graciously teach me your law!
30   I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
    I set your rules before me.
31   I cling to your testimonies, O LORD;
    let me not be put to shame!
32   I will run in the way of your commandments
    when you enlarge my heart!²
