| 1 | 이스라엘아 너는 이방 사람처럼 기뻐 뛰놀지 말라 네가 음행하여 네 하나님을 떠나고 각 타작 마당에서 음행의 값을 좋아하였느니라 |
| 2 | 타작 마당이나 술틀이 그들을 기르지 못할 것이며 새 포도주도 떨어질 것이요 |
| 3 | 그들은 여호와의 땅에 거주하지 못하며 에브라임은 애굽으로 다시 가고 앗수르에서 더러운 것을 먹을 것이니라 |
| 4 | 그들은 여호와께 포도주를 부어 드리지 못하며 여호와께서 기뻐하시는 바도 되지 못할 것이라 그들의 제물은 애곡하는 자의 떡과 같아서 그것을 먹는 자는 더러워지나니 그들의 떡은 자기의 먹기에만 소용될 뿐이라 여호와의 집에 드릴 것이 아님이니라 |
| 5 | 너희는 명절날과 여호와의 절기의 날에 무엇을 하겠느냐 |
| 6 | 보라 그들이 멸망을 피하여 갈지라도 애굽은 그들을 모으고 놉은 그들을 장사하리니 그들의 은은 귀한 것이나 찔레가 덮을 것이요 그들의 장막 안에는 가시 덩굴이 퍼지리라 |
| 7 | 형벌의 날이 이르렀고 보응의 날이 온 것을 이스라엘이 알지라 선지자가 어리석었고 신에 감동하는 자가 미쳤나니 이는 네 죄악이 많고 네 원한이 큼이니라 |
| 8 | 에브라임은 나의 하나님과 함께 한 파수꾼이며 선지자는 모든 길에 친 새 잡는 자의 그물과 같고 그의 하나님의 전에는 원한이 있도다 |
| 9 | 그들은 기브아의 시대와 같이 심히 부패한지라 여호와께서 그 악을 기억하시고 그 죄를 벌하시리라 |
Hosea 9:1–9 (Listen)
The Lord Will Punish Israel
1 Rejoice not, O Israel!
Exult not like the peoples;
for you have played the whore, forsaking your God.
You have loved a prostitute’s wages
on all threshing floors.
2 Threshing floor and wine vat shall not feed them,
and the new wine shall fail them.
3 They shall not remain in the land of the LORD,
but Ephraim shall return to Egypt,
and they shall eat unclean food in Assyria.
4 They shall not pour drink offerings of wine to the LORD,
and their sacrifices shall not please him.
It shall be like mourners’ bread to them;
all who eat of it shall be defiled;
for their bread shall be for their hunger only;
it shall not come to the house of the LORD.
5 What will you do on the day of the appointed festival,
and on the day of the feast of the LORD?
6 For behold, they are going away from destruction;
but Egypt shall gather them;
Memphis shall bury them.
Nettles shall possess their precious things of silver;
thorns shall be in their tents.
7 The days of punishment have come;
the days of recompense have come;
Israel shall know it.
The prophet is a fool;
the man of the spirit is mad,
because of your great iniquity
and great hatred.
8 The prophet is the watchman of Ephraim with my God;
yet a fowler’s snare is on all his ways,
and hatred in the house of his God.
9 They have deeply corrupted themselves
as in the days of Gibeah:
he will remember their iniquity;
he will punish their sins.
